North Carolina High School Football - Wheatmore trounced by Providence Grove

October 28, 2022: Franklinville, NC 27233

The Providence Grove Patriots walloped the visiting Wheatmore Warriors football team by a final score of 59-6 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Providence Grove improves its record to 7-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to McMichael (Mayodan, NC) to confront the Phoenix in a non-league outing on Friday, November 4. The Phoenix go into the outing with a record of 7-3. McMichael won 35-33 in their recent league outing against North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC)

With the loss, Wheatmore moves to 2-8 on the season.
