Maryland High School Football - Walter Johnson smashes Wootton

The Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD) football routed the visiting Wootton Patriots (Rockville, MD), 37-3 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD) in a Montgomery County 4A - West bout, on Friday, November 4. Walter Johnson will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 3-6 record after their 33-32 league loss to Churchill (Potomac, MD).

The Patriots (3-6) will now prepare for their bout against Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Colonels enter the non-league bout with a 6-4 record. In their last bout, Magruder was overwhelmed by Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD), 38-0, in a league bout.
