The Mt. Eden Monarchs football team (Hayward, CA), was beaten 25-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA)

The Yellowjackets (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Irvington (Fremont, CA). The Vikings come into the challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Irvington was beaten by Hayward (Hayward, CA), 27-14, in a league challenge.

The Monarchs now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Moreau Catholic for a challenge on Friday, November 4. Mt. Eden will meet a Mariners team coming off a 41-6 league loss to Washington (Fremont, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 1-6.
