The Holmes Huskies football team (San Antonio, TX), was ripped 69-7 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Brennan Bears (San Antonio, TX)

The Bears (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Jay (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs come into the 6A Region IV District 29 challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Jay trounced Taft (San Antonio, TX), 28-21, in a league challenge.

The Huskies now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to O'Connor for a 6A Region IV District 29 challenge on Saturday, November 4. Holmes will meet a Panthers team coming off a 38-17 league win over Sotomayor (San Antonio, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-7.
