The Cumberland Clippers thwarted the host Mt. Pleasant Kilties football team by a count of 28-16 in Saturday's league outing.

With the win, Cumberland upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Clippers host Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league outing on Friday, November 3. The Patriots go into the outing with a record of 3-5. Portsmouth won 19-0 in their recent league outing against Cranston East (Cranston, RI)

With the loss, Mt. Pleasant moves to 5-3 on the season. The Kilties travel to Barrington (Barrington, RI) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, November 3.
