The Half Hollow Hills East Thunderbirds thwarted the visiting Northport Tigers football team by a count of 63-41 in Saturday's league outing.

With the win, Half Hollow Hills East upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Bellport (Brookhaven, NY) to encounter the Clippers in a Section 11 Division II outing on Saturday, November 4. The Clippers go into the outing with a record of 4-4. Bellport won 37-32 in their recent non-league outing against Deer Park (Deer Park, NY)

With the loss, Northport moves to 4-4 on the season.
