In Saturday's non-league game, the Clinton Gaels (Clinton, MA) football team knocked off the host Maynard Tigers (Maynard, MA), by a score of 56-44.
The Gaels (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Wachusett Regional (Holden, MA). The Mountaineers come into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Wachusett Regional toppled Walpole (Walpole, MA), 21-6, in a non-league game.
The Tigers now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host West Boylston for a non-league game on Monday, November 20.
