The Mitchell Marauders topped the visiting Atlas Preparatory School Gryphons volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Marauders now have a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monte Vista for a non-league test on Saturday, October 28. Mitchell will confront a Pirates team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 5-14.
The Gryphons (0-19) will now prepare for their test against Sand Creek (Colorado Springs, CO). The Scorpions enter the non-league test with a 5-14 record. In their last test, Sand Creek was knocked off by Falcon (Falcon, CO), 3-0, in a league test.
