With the win, Macon County improves its record to 3-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Houston County (Warner Robins, GA) to play the Bears in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 29. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 1-3. Houston County lost 12-6 in their recent non-league battle against Perry (Perry, GA)

The Purple Hurricane now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sumter County for a D1 Area 3 battle on Tuesday, October 29. Fitzgerald will play a Panthers team coming off a 13-12 league win over Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
