Georgia High School Flag Football - Groves thwarted by New Hampstead

New Hampstead Phoenix (Savannah, GA) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the host Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA), 12-0 in a league battle.
With the win, New Hampstead improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Phoenix host Calvary Day (Savannah, GA) to play the Cavaliers in a D2 Area 3 battle on Wednesday, October 30. The Cavaliers go into the battle with a record of 9-3. Calvary Day won 47-0 in their recent league battle against Bryan County (Pembroke, GA)
The Rebels now have a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Jenkins for a D2 Area 3 battle on Monday, October 28. Groves will play a Warriors team coming off a 18-13 league win over Calvary Day (Savannah, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-0.
