The Vikings (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Owen (Black Mountain, NC). The Warhorses go into the Western Highlands 1A/2A outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Owen got by NCSSM: Morganton (Morganton, NC), 8-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Patriots confront the NCSSM: Morganton Dragons (Morganton, NC) in a Western Highlands 1A/2A outing, on Wednesday, November 6. Madison will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Dragons go into the outing with a 6-6 record after their 4-0 league win over Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC).
