The Live Oak Eagles topped the visiting St. John Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) in a Division I District 5 game, on Wednesday, October 30. Live Oak will attempt to advance on its 13-17 season record. The Griffins go into the game with a 25-8 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Newman (New Orleans, LA).

The Eagles (15-15) will now prepare for their game against East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA). The Tigers go into the Division V District 5 game with a 10-7 record. In their last game, East Iberville went down by Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA), 3-0, in a league game.
