In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mt. Vernon Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Anamosa Raiders.
Next up, the Mustangs face the Western Christian Wolfpack (Hull, IA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, November 4. Mt. Vernon will attempt to advance on its 16-10 season record. The Wolfpack go into the game with a 27-9 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD).
With the loss, Anamosa drops to 25-12 on the campaign.
