Colorado High School Volleyball - The Vanguard School over Atlas Preparatory School

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO) and the visiting Atlas Preparatory School Gryphons (Colorado Springs, CO), observed The Vanguard School's volleyball team top Atlas Preparatory School by a count of 3-0.

The Coursers (17-5) will now prepare for their battle against Ellicott (Calhan, CO). The Thunderhawks go into the 3A/2A Tri-Peaks battle with a 1-18 record. In their last battle, Ellicott was defeated by St. Mary's (Colorado Springs, CO), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Gryphons now own a 0-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinidad for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 30. Atlas Preparatory School will encounter a Miners squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Springfield (Springfield, CO). The Miners record now stands at 4-17.
