California High School Volleyball - Reedley over Independence

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Reedley Pirates (Reedley, CA) and the visiting Independence Falcons (Bakersfield, CA), observed Reedley's volleyball team top Independence by a count of 3-0.

The Pirates (24-12) will now prepare for their contest against Atascadero (Atascadero, CA). The Greyhounds go into the non-league battle with a 25-10 record. In their last battle, Atascadero achieved victory over Tulare Western (Tulare, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Falcons now own a 20-12 record.
