    In Friday's league match, the visiting Marion Patriots football squad scored a good 42-12 victory over the Sheridan Yellowjackets.

    In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR) in a 6A East match, on Thursday, November 4. Marion will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Hurricane enter the match with a 7-2 record after their 34-14 league win over Sylvan Hills (Sherwood, AR).
