Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Monte Alto Blue Devil (Monte Alto, TX), 48-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Taft improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a 3A-2 Region IV District 16 test on Friday, November 5. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 5-3. With the loss, Monte Alto drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Blue devil host Banquete (Banquete, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 3A-2 Region IV District 16 test on Friday, November 5. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 5-4. Banquete lost 20-13 in their recent league test against Taft (Taft, TX)
