    In Friday's non-league match, the host Waterford Lancers football squad scored a close 55-54 victory over the Stonington Bears.

    In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 5. Waterford will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Bobcats enter the match with a 0-6 record after their 38-8 non-league loss to New London (New London, CT).
