Texas High School Football - Sabine overwhelms White Oak

The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Sabine Cardinals (Gladewater, TX) and the visiting White Oak Roughnecks (White Oak, TX), observed Sabine's football squad bounce White Oak by a count of 50-14.

The Cardinals now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson for a 3A-1 Region II District 6 contest on Friday, November 4. Sabine will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Tatum (Tatum, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-2.

Coming up next, the Roughnecks encounter the Gladewater Bears (Gladewater, TX) in a 3A-1 Region II District 6 contest, on Friday, November 4. White Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 42-21 league loss to Atlanta (Atlanta, TX).
