The Sutton Sammies football team (Sutton, MA), was ripped 47-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Uxbridge Spartans (Uxbridge, MA)
The Spartans (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Northbridge (Whitinsville, MA). The Rams come into the Southern Worcester County - A challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Northbridge was ripped by St. Bernard's Central Catholic (Fitchburg, MA), 52-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Sammies now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blackstone-Millville for a Dual Valley outing on Thursday, November 24. Sutton will confront a Chargers team coming off a 49-28 non-league loss to Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA). The Chargers record now stands at 3-5.
