The Amite School Center Rebels basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Copiah Academy Colonels to 37 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rebels now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Bowling Green for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 19.

With the loss, Copiah Academy falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Colonels travel to Kirk Academy (Grenada, MS) to confront the Raiders in a non-league game on Monday, November 4. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 0-1. Kirk Academy lost 42-36 in their recent non-league game against DeSoto (West Helena, AR)
