Colfax Falcons (Colfax, CA) followers went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football team triumph over the visiting Mesa Verde Mavericks (Citrus Heights, CA), 44-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Colfax advances its record to 13-0 on the season. The Falcons travel to Sutter (Sutter, CA) to play the Huskies in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 31. The Huskies go into the battle with a record of 12-7. Sutter won 26-6 in their recent non-league battle against Amador (Sutter Creek, CA)

The Mavericks now own a 6-8 record.
