Arizona High School Flag Football - Canyon View trounces Copper Canyon

In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Canyon View Jaguars flag football squad scored a decisive 71-0 triumph over the Copper Canyon Aztecs.

The Jaguars (8-6) will now prepare for their match against Youngker (Buckeye, AZ). The Roughriders come into the 5A Desert West match with a 5-5 record. In their last match, Youngker was routed by Verrado (Buckeye, AZ), 34-0, in a league match.

The Aztecs now have a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to La Joya Community for a 5A Desert West battle on Tuesday, November 4. Copper Canyon will play a Fighting Lobos team coming off a 42-0 league loss to Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ). The Fighting Lobos record now stands at 3-7.
