The Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) flag football overcame the host Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA), 21-6 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Purple Hurricanes battle the Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, November 6. Monroe Area will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record.

The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Morgan County (Madison, GA). The Bulldogs enter the D2 Area 8 game with a 1-4 record.
