In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting New Hampstead Phoenix flag football squad scored a close 7-0 victory over the St. Andrew's Lions.
The Phoenix (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Islands (Savannah, GA). The Sharks come into the D2 Area 2 match with a 5-7 record. In their last match, Islands was nudged by Camden County (Kingsland, GA), 27-6, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Lions meet the Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines (Savannah, GA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, October 29. St. Andrew's will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 19-6 league win over Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA).
