The St. George's Gryphons soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting University School of Jackson Bruins to 3 in the Gryphons non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Gryphons now possess a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they host Evangelical Christian for a non-league game on Thursday, October 30. St. George's will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Battle Ground Academy (Franklin, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 13-5.
The Bruins (16-6) will now prepare for their game against Westview (Martin, TN). The Chargers come into the non-league game with a 14-3 record. In their last game, Westview edged Forrest (Chapel Hill, TN), 9-0, in a non-league game.
