In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host American Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Head-Royce Jayhawks.
The Eagles (18-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, CA). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 18-10 record. In their last challenge, Cardinal Newman achieved victory over Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Jayhawks now own a 17-10 record.
