In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Dragons.

Next up, the Cardinals face the Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts (Mio, MI) in a North Star game, on Wednesday, November 5. Whittemore-Prescott will attempt to advance on its 3-17 season record.

The Dragons (1-16) will now prepare for their game against All Saints Central (Bay City, MI). The Cougars go into the Michigan Summit outing with a 9-19 record. In their last outing, All Saints Central beat Carsonville-Port Sanilac (Carsonville, MI), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
