In Monday's league battle, the visiting Chaparral Cowboys soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Liberty Patriots.
The Cowboys (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against Coronado (Henderson, NV). The Cougars come into the 5A South battle with a 12-2 record.
The Patriots (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Rancho (Las Vegas, NV). The Rams come into the 5A South match with a 3-6 record. In their last match, Rancho was tipped by Canyon Springs (North Las Vegas, NV), 3-0, in a league match.
