In Monday's league battle, the host Coolidge Colts soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the McKinley Tech Trainers.
The Colts (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Bell (Washington, DC). The Griffins come into the DCIAA battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Bell nudged Banneker (Washington, DC), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Trainers (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against School Without Walls (Washington, DC). The Penguins come into the DCIAA battle with a 4-4 record.
