The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Line Mountain Eagles (Herndon, PA) and the visiting Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA), saw Line Mountain's soccer squad get by Shamokin Area by a count of 2-1.
The Eagles now hold a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Greenwood for a test on Wednesday, October 5. Line Mountain will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-1 league win over Halifax (Halifax, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Shamokin Area drops to 1-12 on the season. The Indians travel to Williamsport (Williamsport, PA) to meet the Millionaires in a Heartland I test on Wednesday, October 5. The Millionaires come into the test with a record of 6-4. Williamsport lost 4-1 in their recent league test against Danville (Danville, PA)
