In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Triad Knights soccer squad scored a close 3-0 triumph over the Rochester Rockets.
The Knights (15-2) will now prepare for their battle against Waterloo (Waterloo, IL). The Bulldogs come into the Mississippi Valley battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Waterloo nudged Jersey (Jerseyville, IL), 8-2, in a league battle.
The Rockets (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Normal University (Normal, IL). The Pioneers come into the Central State Eight battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Normal University nudged Mendota (Mendota, IL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
