St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL) in a Illini Prairie challenge, on Tuesday, October 4. St. Joseph-Ogden will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record. The Sages enter the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL).

The Warriors now have a 7-14 record. They take the field next when they host Schlarman for a Vermilion Valley challenge on Tuesday, October 4. Watseka will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 2-12.
