Nebraska High School Softball - Gothenburg bounces Minden

Gothenburg Swedes (Gothenburg, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Minden Whippets (Minden, NE), 14-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Swedes now own a 25-5 record. They take the field next when they host Cozad for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 3. Gothenburg will battle a Haymakers squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Centennial (Utica, NE). The Haymakers record now stands at 15-12.

With the loss, Minden falls to 1-26 on the campaign.
