The Wayne County Yellow Jackets softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Tattnall County Warriors to 2 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Wayne County moves its record to 17-2 on the year. The Yellow Jackets travel to Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA) to play the Yellowjackets in a 4A Region 3 game on Thursday, October 6. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 13-7. Southeast Bulloch won 10-4 in their recent league game against Burke County (Waynesboro, GA)

In their next game, the Warriors play the Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA) in a 2A Region 3 game, on Tuesday, October 4. Tattnall County will attempt to move on its 4-13 season record. The Herons come into the game with a 13-11 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, GA).
