Illinois High School Volleyball - Astoria/VIT Brown County

In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Brown County Hornets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Astoria/VIT Rebels.

The Hornets (14-8) will now prepare for their battle against Greenfield/Northwestern (Greenfield, IL). The Tigers come into the Western Illinois Valley battle with a 13-15 record. In their last battle, Greenfield/Northwestern achieved victory over Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Rebels encounter the Lewistown Indians (Lewistown, IL) in a Prairieland battle, on Tuesday, October 4. Astoria/VIT will attempt to advance on its 0-14 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 4-16 record after their 2-1 league win over Farmington (Farmington, IL).
