The Raiders (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA). The Springers come into the Capital challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Highland Springs went down by Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians encounter the Wythe Bulldogs (Richmond, VA) in a Dominion challenge, on Tuesday, October 4. Powhatan will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cosby (Midlothian, VA).
