The Washburn Castle Guards volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Bayfield Trollers to 0 in the Castle Guards league victory on Monday.
The Castle Guards now have a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Butternut for a Indianhead - East game on Thursday, October 6.
The Trollers (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Mellen (Mellen, WI). The Granite Diggers enter the Indianhead - East game with a 9-7 record. In their last game, Mellen gained a win over Lac Courte Oreilles (Hayward, WI), 3-0, in a league game.
