Ohio High School Volleyball - Salem Boardman

The Boardman Spartans volleyball squad scored 3 points and held the host Salem Quakers to 1 in the Spartans non-league win on Monday.

With the win, Boardman upgrades its record to 7-8 on the year. The Spartans host Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH) to play the Falcons in a All-American outing on Thursday, October 6. The Falcons go into the outing with a record of 14-2. Austintown-Fitch won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Canfield (Canfield, OH)

The Quakers now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Ursuline for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 6. Salem will play a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Howland (Warren, OH). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 12-6.
