Connecticut High School Volleyball - Bunnell crushed by Newtown

The Newtown Nighthawks topped the host Bunnell Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's league test.

The Nighthawks now have a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethel for a Southwest-Colonial test on Friday, October 7. Newtown will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-9.

The Bulldogs (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Red Devils enter the Southwest-Colonial test with a 10-0 record. In their last test, Stratford gained a win over New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT), 3-0, in a league test.
