The Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO) volleyball overcame the host Thomas Jefferson Spartans (Denver, CO), 3-0 in Monday's non-league outing.

With the win, Douglas County upgrades its record to 12-3 on the year. The Huskies travel to Mountain Vista (Highlands Ranch, CO) to play the Golden Eagles in a 5A Continental outing on Tuesday, October 4. The Golden Eagles go into the outing with a record of 9-4. Mountain Vista lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Legend (Parker, CO)

The Spartans now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host George Washington for a 4A/3A Denver Prep outing on Thursday, October 6. Thomas Jefferson will play a Patriots squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Kennedy (Denver, CO). The Patriots record now stands at 8-7.
