Minnesota High School Volleyball - Duluth East can't hold off St. Francis

In Monday's non-league battle, the host St. Francis Fighting Saints volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Duluth East Greyhounds.
The Fighting Saints (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Blaine (Blaine, MN). The Bengals come into the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Blaine nudged Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Greyhounds clash with the Superior Spartans (Superior, WI) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 4. Duluth East will attempt to advance on its 7-7 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 15-10 record after their 3-2 league win over Proctor (Proctor, MN).
