Ohio High School Volleyball - Fort Frye over New Lexington

In Monday's non-league contest, the Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting New Lexington Panthers (New Lexington, OH), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Cadets face the Williamstown Yellowjackets (Williamstown, WV) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 4. Fort Frye will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a 22-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV).

With the loss, New Lexington moves to 15-3 on the year. The Panthers host Morgan (McConnelsville, OH) to face the Raiders in a Muskingum Valley contest on Tuesday, October 4. The Raiders go into the contest with a record of 6-11. Morgan lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Meadowbrook (Byesville, OH)
