North Carolina High School Volleyball - Hiwassee Dam nudged by Union County

October 3, 2022: Murphy, NC 28906

The Union County Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Hiwassee Dam Eagles to 2 in the Panthers non-league victory on Monday.

The Panthers now possess a 15-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dawson County for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 5. Union County will meet a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Wesleyan (Norcross, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 21-14.

The Eagles (1-16) will now prepare for their game against Nantahala (Topton, NC). The Hawks enter the Little Smoky Mountain 1A game with a 0-9 record. In their last game, Nantahala was nudged by Victory Christian (Sylva, NC), 3-0, in a non-league game.
