The Independence Patriots volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Summers County Bobcats to 0 in the Patriots non-league victory on Monday.
The Patriots now possess a 10-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoover for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 4. Independence will meet a Huskies team coming off a 2-0 league win over Winfield (Winfield, WV). The Huskies record now stands at 13-10.
The Bobcats (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 17-5 record. In their last game, Greenbrier East defeated Winfield (Winfield, WV), 2-0, in a non-league game.
