In Monday's non-league contest, the Raritan Rockets (Hazlet, NJ) volleyball squad were winner over the host Middletown North Lions (Middletown, NJ), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Rockets face the Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs (Rumson, NJ) in a Shore B - North contest, on Thursday, October 6. Raritan will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record.

With the loss, Middletown North moves to 0-1 on the year. The Lions travel to Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ) to face the Green Wave in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 4. The Green Wave go into the contest with a record of 0-0.
