South Dakota High School Volleyball - Washington over Mitchell

In Monday's league contest, the Washington Warriors (Sioux Falls, SD) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Warriors battle the Lincoln Patriots (Sioux Falls, SD) in a AA District 1 contest, on Tuesday, October 4. Washington will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 11-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Huron (Huron, SD).

With the loss, Mitchell drops to 5-11 on the campaign. The Kernels travel to Stevens (Rapid City, SD) to battle the Raiders in a non-league contest on Friday, October 7. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 14-6. Stevens won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against North Platte (North Platte, NE)
