In Monday's non-league contest, the Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Mariners battle the Central Knights (Providence, RI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 4. Narragansett will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record.

With the loss, Scituate moves to 5-4 on the year. The Spartans host Tiverton (Tiverton, RI) to battle the Tigers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 4. The Tigers go into the contest with a record of 1-5. Tiverton lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Toll Gate (Warwick, RI)
