The Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) football routed the visiting Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA), 50-12 in Tuesday's league bout.
In their next game, the Griffins face the Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, October 10. Dutchtown will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 16-14 non-league win over Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA).
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against East Ascension (Gonzales, LA). The Spartans enter the non-league bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, East Ascension was crushed by Central (Baton Rouge, LA), 22-18, in a non-league bout.
