The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME) and the visiting Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME), saw Gray-New Gloucester's soccer squad get by Lincoln Academy by a margin of 3-2.
The Patriots now sport a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Poland for a Class B - South test on Thursday, October 5. Gray-New Gloucester will meet a Knights squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME). The Knights record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Lincoln Academy drops to 2-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 6-2. Medomak Valley lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Oceanside (Rockland, ME)
